Last night we got our first glimpse of our baby on the YWAM Ethiopia site. The emotions are overwhelming. All these cut kids, but God has one for us. I can read all the profiles, look at all the adorable pictures, and love each of them with a God given love. I already do! I love them already and could love them forever.

The question is: “Who do you have for us Lord?” What child is meant to be a part of our family? Who is called to serve with us in Asia, to grow up in our home environment, to be shaped by us and the world around us that we’ll be a part of? Delighted to find out Lord!

So, we pray! It is hard for emotions not to overtake, or for the cute pictures to not dominate our decision. What do you have for us Lord? So, Eileen and I are coming to you Lord. Please inform us of your will for our family. Please give us insight to make this decision, the one that will be perfect for us, perfect for this little precious child, and perfect for the rest of our family as it grows from here on out.
